The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin canceled the decrees of November 27 and December 20, 2023 on the introduction of an emergency situation in the region due to bad weather. The head of the republic established a high alert regime in the DPR from January 26, the press service of the subject reported in Telegram.

On November 27, 2023, due to the consequences of strong winds and precipitation, a state of emergency was introduced in 14 municipalities of the DPR: the urban districts of Mariupol, Makeevka, Enakievo, Ilovaisk, Torez, Dokuchaevsk, Debaltsevo, as well as in Amvrosievsky, Shakhtarsky, Yasinovatsky, Starobeshevsky, Telmanovsky, Novoazovsky and Mangushsky municipal districts.

On December 20, a state of emergency due to bad weather was introduced in ten municipalities of the republic: the urban districts of Donetsk, Makeevka, Gorlovka, Torez, Snezhnoye, as well as in Amvrosievsky, Starobeshevsky, Telmanovsky, Volnovakha and Shakhtarsky municipal districts. At the same time, Denis Pushilin’s decree on the introduction of a state of emergency on November 27 was not canceled.
