Pupils of school No. 2120 received an award for the volunteer project “We teach good”

Students of the volunteer club of the Moscow School No. 2120, together with their curator Elena Tsapa, received an award in the “Teach Good” nomination of the “9 Good Deeds” competition.
The competition was organized by the Mosvolonter Center, and the schoolchildren received the award for their active participation in projects related to the preservation of the environment, in particular, the Paper Boom eco-campaign, when volunteers from the Dobryata school team collected waste paper, the Native Forest campaign, within the framework of which ninth-graders planted trees in the settlement of Moskovsky, and elementary school students collected snags, cones, oak leaves and acorns for the animals of the Moscow Zoo, helped animal shelters, and in winter they held the Feeding Trough campaign, the Dobroobuv campaign, where school students collected 400 kg of outdated sneakers, sneakers and shoes were sent for recycling and received crumb rubber to cover the gym.
According to Elena Tsapa, a volunteer is not just a passionate person.
“This is an example of disinterestedness, moral principles and morality in the highest degree. He knows how to effectively interact with others, work in a team for the benefit of society, says the teacher.
By the way, members of the volunteer team of school No. 2120 are actively involved in helping the elderly. As part of the “Share the warmth of your soul” campaign, students and parents collected gifts for veterans of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers and children of the war, congratulated pensioners on the Day of the Elderly right on the street.
