We interviewed a dozen Russian-speaking residents of Limassol. No one confirms that Alla Pugacheva moved to Cyprus.

Blogger from Kaliningrad Ekaterina Khoroshevskaya has been living in Limassol for more than a year. I learned that Alla Borisovna was moving to Cyprus from friends.

“I’ve never heard from anyone here about Pugacheva, and now there’s silence,” Ekaterina began the conversation. – The only thing is, my friend who lives in Northern Cyprus wrote: meet, Pugacheva is coming to you. We asked Ekaterina to tell us what kind of life awaits Alla Borisovna in Limassol if she decides to stay there.

Alla Pugacheva has two children. According to the interlocutor, there are Russian and English schools in Limassol.

— My son goes to an English school. Training costs from 400 to 700 euros per month, depending on whether there are additional classes or extensions. Lessons with a tutor cost about 500 euros per month. The standard of living here is three times more expensive than in Kaliningrad, where I came from.

– What about medicine?

— According to Russian reviews, ours are not very happy with medicine. Expensive, and the quality is poor. For example, getting quality teeth done costs at least 5 times more than in Russia. But the service does not reach our level. If I get my teeth cleaned here, then I come to Russia and have it done over. It’s hard to find good specialists here during the day. But the beauty industry is thriving, although it is very expensive.

Many Russian and Ukrainian girls work in beauty salons. Complex hair coloring from a Russian master costs 500-600 euros (50-60 thousand rubles), whereas in Russia the price of such a service is 12-15 thousand. I get my eyebrows done in a regular salon for 40 euros (4,000 rubles). In Kaliningrad, I paid 800 rubles for eyebrows. Eyelash extensions – 50-60 euros (5000-6000 rubles). Russian specialists are valued here.

— What is the average bill in restaurants?

— Dropping into a restaurant for lunch, just a snack will cost about 40 euros (4,000 rubles). Dinner with wine for two – 80-140 euros (8000-14000 rubles), if you don’t show off. If you show off, you can reach the ceiling.

— Is the utility expensive?

— In the summer, when it’s hot, the air conditioners are constantly running. In three months it comes out to about 800 euros. It’s quite cold here in winter. We bought batteries, but they don’t always help. There are also problems with the masters. If your refrigerator breaks down, it’s not cheap to fix it. In general, prices for everything are 3-4 times higher than in Russia. In general, adaptation to Cyprus is a delicate matter. Depends on the state of the person’s soul and communication skills. I was sick for a year. I flew to Russia four times. Now it has stopped. Not everything is as simple as it seems. This is a shake-up for the nervous system of the whole family.

In general, Catherine believes that Cyprus is a calm place. Indicates advantages: “Sea and peace. The Russians have organized many different groups, parties, everyone meets, launches projects.”

— Do our stars often come to Cyprus to give concerts?
