Psychologists have scientifically proven the benefits of anger

American psychologists from the University of Texas have found that anger can help achieve goals.
Scientists conducted an experiment in which they invited 1,000 student volunteers to participate. Participants solved complex anagrams, performed logic tests and played computer games, and psychologists checked how certain emotions affected their results. As it turned out, anger improved reaction speed, increased the number of points and gave motivation to make the maximum number of attempts. Another effect was the willingness of volunteers experiencing anger to use cunning to achieve results.
Joy also increased performance and motivation compared to a neutral mood.
The work was published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology
