A pilot project to improve the professional competence of psychologists from the LPR and DPR has been launched in the Tambov region, Kommersant was told in the regional government.
They explained that in two weeks 47 psychologists from Donbass will attend the advanced training program “Modern technologies of psychological assistance in extreme and crisis situations” on the basis of the Tambov State University. G. R. Derzhavin. Within its framework, lectures and trainings on classical crisis psychology, therapeutic groups will be held. Classes will be taught by crisis psychologists, therapists, psychiatrists from the Serbsky Institute of Forensic Psychiatry, psychologists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and leading supervisors of the country. The project is being implemented under the auspices of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights, the government of the Tambov Region, the United Russia party and with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund.
After training, psychologists will receive documents on advanced training of the state standard. Special rooms will be created on the territory of Donbass, in which project participants will be able to provide psychological assistance to the families of servicemen and released prisoners of war.
Last summer, in the Tambov region, teachers from the Novoaydarsky district of the LPR underwent additional training at Derzhavin University in accordance with Russian educational standards. Since then, the university has been helping colleagues methodically. Also in the Tambov region there is a fund to support participants in a special military operation, which received 170 million rubles. from large businesses and residents.
