Pskov employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service won the powerlifting tournament

The WRPF Alexander Nevsky II Cup Open Tournament and the city powerlifting championship ended in the regional center. As the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Pskov region told MK in Pskov, about a hundred athletes from different parts of the Pskov region, as well as a number of other regions of the Northwestern Federal District, competed for the title of the strongest in it.
Timur Dzhalilov, head of SIZO-1, and Andrey Musatov, instructor of the Zubr Special Forces, demonstrated their skills. They managed to cope with all the standards of candidates for the master of sports.
“Among the rivals, there were no equals to either one or the second athlete. The head of the pre-trial detention center scored 46.46 points and became the winner in the individual competition, the Zubr fighter earned more than 49 points and was the leader not only in his nomination, but also in the absolute championship“, – shared the achievements of colleagues in the press service of the regional department of the Federal Penitentiary Service. Satisfaction from the work done was, by the way, the athletes themselves.
It should be noted that Igor Leshenkov, a veteran of the DOS Zubr, also became the leader of the tournament in two disciplines at the same time. He prevailed over rivals in the bench press and strict curl in his weight class.
