Pskov coach: Young people don’t come to run yet

Some people refuse to run, worrying that their weak ligaments will not withstand such a load – this opinion was expressed by the show’s host, Vladimir Kuz, in the debut episode of the “Iron Men” program on the waves of the radio station PLN FM (102.6). The guest of the program, Pskov coach, commentator and athlete Alexander Kuzmin, noted that this is why the ligaments need to be strengthened.
He noted that running has become very popular recently. But many people who come into this field have never played sports before. Therefore, their cords are not ready to cover distances of 10-15 kilometers. In this regard, according to the studio guest, “the legs are strengthened” during training in the gym.
“80% of my athletes are well over 30. Young people don’t come to train yet, being carried away by other things. Apparently, there is no awareness yet that you need to lead a healthy lifestyle,” shared Alexander Kuzmin.
