Pskov athletes played a friendly futsal match with colleagues from Veliky Novgorod. “MK in Pskov” was informed about this by the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Pskov region.
The sports competition took place between two neighboring regions – Pskov and Novgorod. The competition was dedicated to the 145th anniversary of the formation of the penal system of the Russian Federation. It was the first time that an event of this scale was held.
Over two halves, the Pskov athletes managed to hit the opponents’ goal 6 times: 3 goals scored by Vladislav Orlov, 2 by Alexander Vasiliev and 1 by Artem Lavrentyev.
As a result, the Pskov team won with a score of 6:2. The athletes thanked each other with a handshake and agreed to meet again. The representative of the Novgorod Federal Penitentiary Service Dmitry Konstantinov was recognized as the best player of the entire match.
All participants were awarded commemorative pennants and diplomas.
