The Moscow company Design Center Soyuz, which is a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, has developed samples of a programmable logic integrated circuit. The innovation is suitable for use in space and special equipment. The project is being implemented with another resident, the Mikron plant.

“Moscow supports microelectronics manufacturers: at the end of 2023, the industry showed growth of 25%. A number of projects are being implemented at the sites of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, including a microelectronics and photonics cluster, whose participants are developing in the field of photonic integrated circuits and microelectronic components,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. He clarified that the microcircuit created by the company has high reliability and resistance to external influences. It is ready for use in space and special equipment.

In addition, as part of import substitution in 2023, the company expanded its production area by 1,200 sq.m. It should be noted that more than 30 enterprises have localized microelectronics production in the capital’s SEZ. Last year they invested more than 20 billion rubles in development.

According to the general director of the company, Vsevolod Enns, the creation of the circuit, software, assembly of crystals, and testing of the circuit are carried out by the company’s employees, and manufacturing is carried out by the Micron plant. Pre-orders for the device are already available.
