Vladimir Prokhvatilov, an expert from the Academy of Military Sciences, commented on reports that a Ukrainian drone had exploded near Karamyshevskaya Embankment the day before. Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that a terrorist attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a facility in Moscow was suppressed, the UAV was neutralized with the help of electronic warfare.
“We need to attract people, we need to create territorial defense detachments like in the Belogorodsk region,” Prokhvatilov said in interview radio station “Moscow speaking”.
The expert also proposed, following the example of besieged Leningrad, to place vigilantes on all high-rise buildings.
“There is a war going on. We must take it seriously,” Prokhvatilov said.
He also suggested distributing anti-drone guns to members of the regional and district territorial defense, as well as attracting volunteers to develop an electronic jamming system en masse. According to Prokhvatilov, we need to focus on “protecting Russian territory from drones.”
