Prilepin advised Zemfira to perform in Donetsk
Russian writer Zakhar Prilepin advised singer Zemfira (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) and humorist Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) to give concerts in the Donbass, instead of challenging their status as foreign agents in court.
He suggested that with the help of lawsuits, both are trying to “prepare the ground” for a return to Russia.
The writer recommended that the singer “on the way from Paris” give a big concert in Donetsk, and Galkin – in Gorlovka.
“It will be such a passage back. Why through the court? You can walk. Through concert halls,” Prilepin said in an interview News.ru.
In early May, it became known that Zemfira filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Justice in order to challenge the assignment of the status of a foreign agent to her.
The singer currently lives in France, Galkin settled in Israel.
