In the Khabarovsk Territory, there are plans to organize prestigious international and national competitions in 2024. As reported in press service of the regional government, the work will be carried out as part of the flagship initiative of Governor Mikhail Degtyarev “Edge of Attraction. Tourism for pleasure” – “Sports capital in the East of Russia” according to the presidential national project “Demography”.
In the Khabarovsk Territory, a lot of effort is being made to develop the sports sector, improve infrastructure and build new centers as part of various federal projects. Therefore, the region becomes a platform for holding international and all-Russian competitions.
There are plans to hold an international tournament in memory of Soviet and Russian soldiers who died in the line of duty in the Orlan sports complex from February 18 to 25 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. From April 11 to 15, the Russian Trampoline Championship will be organized in Khabarovsk, and from April 20 to 22, the Russian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship among juniors will be held in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. They also organize international boxing competitions in memory of Hero of the Soviet Union Konstantin Korotkov, international judo competitions “In Memory of V.S. Oshchepkova” and other sporting events.
