“One True Day” is a story primarily about love. About the love of a secretive and incomprehensible person – investigator Kapitonov – and his kind, sweet wife, whose heart knows for sure that her husband is a real person. “Our film crew did everything to get a well-told story and the viewer would be completely, without residue, immersed in what is happening on the screen. The most important thing for us was to awaken emotions in the viewer! And so that history remains in the hearts of people!” – admitted the director of the picture Georgy Shengelia.

It was he who presented his film, the film crew and the actors who came to the first spectators, guests of the ceremony and journalists at the Cinema House.

Before the beginning of the film, the opening speech was delivered by People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Valery Alexandrovich Barinov: “Tonight brought me back to my youth. The halls were full then. It’s great that you came to this very good picture. I saw her, I judged her. I envy you in a good way, because you have not yet seen the big picture, but I did. And, you know, I’m so glad the return of professionals in the cinema! There is a sense of the script, a sense of air for the cameraman… and most importantly – a brilliant selection of actors! From the smallest episode to a huge stage.”

“The hardest scene… Probably the birth scene. It is not easy because in real life, classic childbirth does not begin like this. The director and I came to such a common denominator to reflect what happened to my heroine, ”Irina Tumantseva, who played one of the main roles in the film, told reporters.

“A person after watching a film should go out and think: who is he? What role does he play in life? Is that what he does? I hope that the viewer, having come to this film, will think about something and find answers to his questions, ”the heroine of the picture admonished the audience before viewing.

“Roebuck, Tkachuk and Fedorov… I understood why these three people grew together so much. They can play everything! Drama, thrillers, comedy… They paid a great professional debt in their work,” Georgiy Shengelia, the director of the film “One Real Day”, said about the main one, and the audience plunged into the cruel world of the film.

The main character, an investigator of the Investigative Committee, is a calm but cynical person. He can go to any lengths to reach his goal. Including head over heels. However, what begins to happen in his life makes him change his worldview and look at his views from a different angle. The man is faced with a difficult choice. On one side of the scale – a career and prosperity, and on the other – an act that can deprive him of everything, even life. When he understands that there is “one real day” left when something can be changed, he does not miss the chance of moral rebirth and changes everything.

The hall filled with applause met the end of the picture, from which we can conclude that the audience liked the film.

“One real day”, which can change lives, turn people’s destinies… The film directed by Shengelia, who, according to the actor Barinov, did not shoot anything for 10 years, is like a shot in the top ten. You can’t hide the power of talent anywhere, even after some time has passed. Actors Robak, Tkachuk and Fedorov are just a super trio, the problem is as old as the world, the struggle between good and evil, and, of course, good wins! Otherwise, why this day, even if not the last one … ”- the guest of the evening at the Cinema House summed up the premiere viewing.
