The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova reported a decrease in the incidence of coronavirus in Russia by 7.2% over the past week. According to her, the incidence is decreasing in all age groups (except 65+). 85 people died from the consequences of COVID-19 per day (ten people less than the day before). The largest number of deaths was recorded in Moscow (27) and St. Petersburg (11). A total of 1,526 people were hospitalized during the day.

According to Ms. Popova, Russia has managed to overcome the “second small increase” in the incidence since early September. In August, Roszdravnadzor recommended resume vaccination against COVID-19 in regions where a high incidence rate is recorded.
