The final stage of the Russian Cup in cross-country skiing has ended in Kirovsk. On the final day of the competition, athletes competed in a 10 km uphill mass start.

Skiers representing the Arkhangelsk region performed successfully in the most difficult event of the program. The girls had no competition from Alina Pekletsova, who completed the distance the fastest. She overtook teammate Veronika Stepanova and Anastasia Kuleshova from the Nizhny Novgorod region.

For men, the entire podium was occupied by skiers from the Pomorie team. Savely Korostelev became the champion, Alexey Chervotkin was in second place, and Alexander Bolshunov took bronze.

In the overall standings of the Russian Cup finals, Veronika Stepanova (Arkhangelsk region) was out of competition among the girls. In second place is Anastasia Kuleshova (Nizhny Novgorod region), in third place is Alina Pekletsova (Arkhangelsk region).

In the final men’s protocol, the leader of the season, Alexander Bolshunov, won. The second was Savely Korostelev, the third was Alexey Chervotkin.
