Ukraine should return to friendship with Russia after it ceases to be a threat to it. This was stated by the First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky in his Telegram channel.
As the diplomat noted, everything will depend on the choice of the Ukrainian people. But Russia believes that Ukraine should be preserved and be a friendly country.
The West is trying to pass off Russia’s position as a desire to destroy Ukrainian statehood, to Russify Ukraine. But this is “absolutely not the case,” Polyansky emphasized. He noted that Ukraine should become a friendly neighbor of Russia, from which there will be no military or other threat to our country.
