Ukraine has terminated an agreement with Russia on the joint use and protection of transboundary water bodies, Taras Melnychuk, a government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, wrote on his Telegram channel.

“The agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on the joint use and protection of transboundary water bodies, which was concluded on October 19, 1992 in Kyiv, has been terminated,” he wrote.

In addition, Ukraine withdrew from the CIS agreement on the implementation of a coordinated policy in the field of determining transport tariffs, concluded on January 17, 1997. The Russian Foreign Ministry earlier announced the termination of the agreement between Russia and Ukraine on the mutual recognition of documents on education and academic titles.

In April, the Ukrainian side withdrew from the agreement with Russia on the creation of rocket technology of 1995. It provided, among other things, for the supply of equipment, components and blanks to the enterprises of the rocket and space industries in Ukraine and Russia without taxation. In general, since 2014, Ukraine has withdrawn from most of the agreements previously concluded with Russia.
