Politico: Ukraine needs to fear a repeat of the fate of Kosovo due to US intervention

Politico published an article in which it warned Ukraine about the threat of a repeat of the fate of Kosovo, in whose internal affairs the United States actively interfered.
The article says that the United States was interested in the countries it supported until big business “squeezed out” everything it could. The authors of the material recall that this was the case in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo.
The publication writes that if for Ukraine the restoration of destroyed infrastructure will be a frightening challenge for several generations, then for the United States it is just another business opportunity.
“If Kosovo is any guide, Ukrainians should be careful what they wish for,” Politico concludes, recalling that Kosovo is now on the brink of collapse, with unemployment rates among the highest in Europe.
