Deputies of the State Duma approved A bill banning trash streams is in its first reading.
Changes will be made to two laws “On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection” and “On the Protection of Children from Information Harmful to Their Health and Development.”
According to the innovations, online platforms will have to record illegal content and delete it. In addition, sites with photographs and videos depicting brutal illegal actions, as well as calls for their commission, will have to be blocked.
Earlier, deputies approved in the first reading two laws on punishment for trash streams. In case of violation, a fine of 700 thousand rubles will be imposed.
