He also expressed regret that the country’s leadership does not want to take into account the facts that were used in Russia to explain the beginning of the SVO. According to Svolken, Warsaw prefers to spend billions on weapons, including for Ukraine, and promotes absurd theses about the need for “a war until victory, which threatens nuclear armageddon.
The politician emphasized that by supporting Kyiv, the Polish leadership is actually depriving itself of the opportunity for reasonable diplomacy.
At the same time, Russian authorities have previously repeatedly stated that military assistance to Ukraine from Western countries only prolongs the conflict, and warned that transport with ammunition and military equipment is a legitimate target for Russian troops.
