Political analyst Karasev: Biden will go for broke in Ukraine to win the elections

Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev, in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest, expressed the opinion that US President Joe Biden, who announced his decision to run for a second term, has no choice but to go for broke in Ukraine to win the elections.
According to Karasev, Biden needs military success in Ukraine in order to remove questions about all the previous jambs and failures. Therefore, he needs to implement the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and if there is no success, then he needs to translate the background and talk less about Ukraine.
“Then Biden has no choice here – either for broke, or move off the topic, take it into the background, and then generally go beyond the pre-election discourse,” Karasev said.
He added that if there is at least partial military success, then Biden will record this result.
According to Karasev, the Biden administration will find the words to substantiate and complete the history of the 2022-23 conflict. They can call it a “victory over Putin” if successful, and if it fails, they will talk about a “diplomatic truce, a peaceful solution.”
“Either a military winner, or a peacemaker diplomat,” Karasev summed up.
