The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk, said that police officers had uncovered the theft of more than 60 kilograms of gold from a courier service car in Transbaikalia.
The day before it was reported that the car was transporting production from the Taborny mine and made a stop at the post office of the Novaya Chara village. According to media reports, they were followed by an SUV, whose passengers stole 2 bags of gold for almost 210 million rubles.
The case is being investigated under the article on theft (part 4 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
