Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Wonsik: Poland is considering the possibility of closing rail freight traffic with Belarus
The Polish authorities are considering the possibility of closing railway cargo transportation with the Republic of Belarus. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland Maciej Wonsik in an interview with PAP.
“Poland is considering the possibility of closing rail freight traffic with Belarus,” Wonsik said.
After the start of the Russian special operation on the territory of Ukraine, tensions increased on the Polish-Belarusian border. Last summer, Warsaw completed the construction of a 186 km long wall on the border with the Republic of Belarus.
In addition, information appeared the day before that Warsaw was sending an additional 2,000 troops to the border with Belarus.
