Putin asked how things are with the gross regional product (GRP). “We have gone beyond 550 billion. This year we plan to approach the mark of 600 billion rubles,” the governor said, noting that a large increase is provided by partnership with the Moscow agglomeration, since the largest customers come from this territory.
During the conversation, the governor specified that the completion of work on the construction of the northern bypass of Tver is scheduled for 2024. The topic of medical support in the region was also touched upon. In response to a question, Rudenya noted that four children’s polyclinics will open this year, a new hospital building will be commissioned, and work is underway to build a large regional hospital in Bezhetsk.
