Military expert, head of the Center for the Study of Military and Political Conflicts Andrei Klintsevich, in an interview with MK, meanwhile, told how Poland is increasing its military potential: “we have accumulated loans for weapons for several generations to come.”

The Polish Prime Minister once again accused Russia and Belarus of “pressure on the border, an increase in the number of provocations” and plans to escalate the situation on the border. And the President of Lithuania said that “the possibility of closing the border with Belarus is being considered.” However, this issue allegedly still needs to be agreed with Poland and Latvia.

According to military expert Andrei Klintsevich, the Baltics and Poland have no reason to worry so much.

– The fact that Poland and Lithuania are afraid is good. But you need to understand that it was these countries that were the first to enter the ladder of conflict escalation. Let me remind you that Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine have created joint armed units that have already grown to the corps and plan to enter western Ukraine as peacekeepers.

The military expert also recalled that it is the Baltic states and Poland that are leaders in militarization.

– The Poles have generally taken the bar, which is unattainable for any European army. They want to become the largest tank power in Europe, when the tank industry is closed for everyone, there are no forces and means, and the Poles ordered 1200 tanks, for 900 artillery systems, a bunch of aircraft. And all this in loans for several generations to come.

Poland also doubles the number of armed forces – up to 300 thousand. In addition, new militarized structures are being created – border guard units. In response to these actions, we began to create a Russian-Belarusian joint military group, in response to the promotion of NATO infrastructure and tactical nuclear warheads in Europe, we deployed the most powerful air defense systems and Iskander operational-tactical missile systems, which, including , can drop nuclear weapons. These are all responses.

According to the military expert, it is also very important that a group of our instructors is now training the Belarusian military:
