“Someone and wine glasses must hold”

The telegram channel of the military correspondent and writer Natalia Kurchatova these days has once again become a battlefield for “sofa patriots” and their opponents. This time, Natalia, covering the situation in Donbass from the inside, quite painfully attacked, in the informational sense of the word, the poet, prose writer and actor from St. Petersburg, Alexander Pelevin, known for his patriotic activity.

The fact is that in the publics supporting the special operation, the evening of the “real Pelevin” (not the one that Viktor Olegovich) is actively advertised in one of the entertainment establishments. Moreover, the action is described in a rather original way.

“Alexander Pelevin will again conquer Ryumochnaya in…”, Oleg Demidov wrote about this. After this message, without further ado, a link to purchase tickets is given – by no means cheap.

To show the difference between the life of the capital’s hangouts and Donetsk reality, Kurchatova published the following post: “On holidays, the poet Oleg Mironov is injured while trying to take Krasnogorovka, and the “Z” poet Sasha Pelevin conquers a wine glass … You discovered a star cluster, and I – another bubble, as the Crematorium group sang.

The MK correspondent contacted Mironov, who is indeed in the hospital these days. To an idiotically tactless question about his state of health, the volunteer poet answered with irony:

– I feel like I got multiple shrapnel wounds and pneumonia…

And then he spoke about his attitude towards Russian authors who take on the mission to speak on behalf of Donbass, seeing the long-suffering region often only on TV:

– I treat them calmly. So it has always been, is and will be. Someone is being led to the slaughter, and he is wounded, and someone is singing Severyanin. Yes, and still incomparable quantities: Pelevin and I. I have a poem or two and counted, and he is a distinguished poet. Someone must hold the wine glasses, otherwise we will lose them …

In conclusion, we note that among those who these days leave comments under Kurchatova’s publications (often sharp in form, but true in essence), there are people who write in all seriousness about the “battles for the Mariinka”, that is, they confuse the city of Maryinka and the famous St. Petersburg theater … In a word, “everyone imagines himself a strategist, seeing the battle from the side” …
