PJSC “Uralasbest” returned 12 mobilized employees

As part of the partial mobilization, 31 employees of Uralasbest PJSC (Sverdlovsk Region), one of the world’s largest producers of chrysotile asbestos, were called up. The press service of the enterprise “Kommersant” said that they had already managed to return 12 workers, 11 of whom went to work, including in critical specialties.
Due to the fact that the employees of Uralasbest were able to receive the reservation only now, 19 of them still remain in the special operation zone. The press service said that work is underway on them through the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
In connection with the mobilization of employees of the Ural enterprise, State Duma deputy Maxim Ivanov addressed the head of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov. He noted that mobilization should not “bleed the industrial potential of the region, which works to strengthen the country’s defense capability.”
PJSC “Uralasbest” operates on the basis of the Bazhenovskoye deposit, the explored reserves of which are estimated for 150 years. The deposit is developed by an open method. The quarry is 8 km long, 2.5 km wide and 350 m deep.
