18-year-old midfielder of the Moscow football club Lokomotiv Sergey Pinyaev was recognized as the best young player of the Russian Premier League (RPL) of the 2022/2023 season according to the results of a vote by coaches and team captains.
According to the portal “Championship.com”the second place in the voting was taken by the forward of the Moscow “Dynamo” Konstantin Tyukavin, and the third – by the midfielder of the capital “Spartak” Ruslan Litvinov.
Sergey Pinyaev is a educated academy “Chertanovo”. The midfielder began his professional career in the capital football club of the same name. In 2021, Pinyaev moved to the Samara Krylya Sovetov, and two years later he became a player in the Moscow Lokomotiv. The midfielder played three matches in the Russian national football team.
In the RPL season that ended, Sergey Pinyaev scored three goals and made an assist in 11 matches for Krylya Sovetov, and also scored two goals in nine meetings with Lokomotiv.
