“Pilot” Yeysk school received a roof

Yeysk School No. 7 named after the historian, professor N.I. Pavlenko became the first educational institution in the Kuban to be included in the federal program for the overhaul of schools, which was outlined by President Vladimir Putin. Thus, as part of a project aimed at modernizing school education systems, the roof was completely renovated in the institution.

According to school director Oksana Lysenko, earlier the interior of the school was also put in order. “Over the past few years, a lot has been done at the level of the region and the municipality to create more comfortable conditions for students and teachers. For example, a major overhaul of the gym was carried out. And this year, the catering unit and the dining room were reconstructed, the school yard was landscaped, separate classrooms and recreation areas were repaired, and new high-quality furniture was purchased,” she clarified.

Close attention is also paid to compliance with modern educational standards. “We understand that the quality of education depends on our teachers and on what technical means they are provided with. The teaching staff is always open to new things and is not afraid to be a pioneer,” says Lysenko. – The school was a pilot school for the introduction of new educational standards. Since 2014, we have been implementing four areas of specialized training. The most demanded are the natural science and technological profiles. This allowed us to take part in the selection process for the creation and operation of the Quantorium children’s technopark. On the basis of our organization, the first school technopark in the region is being opened, classes in which will be available to children from all over our district.”

School No. 7 is the most numerous educational institution in the district, at the moment 1792 children are studying in it. The school staff is fully formed: it includes both experienced teachers who are fluent in the methods of teaching the subject, and young teachers. Basically, these are primary school teachers, graduates of the Yeysk Pedagogical College. “We have a long-term cooperation with him. On the basis of our school, they undergo an internship and then return to it as certified specialists,” says the director of the educational institution.
