Petr Biryukov: landscaping of the territory near the MCD-4 Ochakovo station has begun

Improvement of the territory adjacent to the reconstructed Ochakovo station of the Kyiv direction of the Moscow Railway (MZD) has begun. It will become part of WDC-4.
According to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow City Government Pyotr Biryukov, the work will take place on the streets of Bolshaya Ochakovskaya, Elena Kolesova, Maria Polivanova, Przhevalsky and in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Ochakov lanes.
“As part of the project, we will create a comfortable pedestrian route from the MCD-4 Ochakovo station to the residential areas of the actively developing Ochakovo-Matveevskoye district in the west of the capital,” he specified.
Biryukov added that sidewalks will be expanded and put in order, where possible, additional pedestrian crossings will be equipped. Sidewalks will appear where they were not before – along the road on Elena Kolesova Street and in 3rd Ochakovsky Lane. They will also resurface the roadway and organize parking.
Petr Biryukov said that more than 200 modern street lamps and street lamps with energy-saving lamps will be installed on the route to the new MCD-4 station
“It is planned to rebuild five traffic lights and install new road signs. We are equipping ground crossings with 48 poles of contrasting lighting so that at night the zebra itself and pedestrians on it are more visible to drivers,” the deputy mayor noted.
Employees of the Municipal Economy Complex will install 17 modern pavilions for public transport passengers. Over time, 80 benches and outdoor chairs will appear, as well as two new playgrounds. Seven existing ones will be updated.
According to Biryukov, 120 trees and 1,200 shrubs will be planted in the landscaped areas. In the park on Maria Polivanova Street, a recreation area with playgrounds and a small stage for celebrations and events will be made. Completion is scheduled for next year.
