Petersburg after searches closed 10 bars due to the sale of alcohol to teenagers

After the night searches in the bars on Lomonosov Street in the center of St. Petersburg, 10 out of 13 establishments were closed and sealed. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city and region. According to investigators, the bars sold alcohol to minors.

“Investigative measures were taken in connection with a criminal case on the sale of alcohol to underage visitors. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also reported that during the raid, police officers found a 16-year-old teenager in a state of intoxication, ”the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.

According to “Fontanki”, we are talking about the bars Nebar, Escobar, El Chapo, Disco club Lomonosov, Saigon and Hands Up. As Fontanka reported, at night the police searched even closed bars – for this, firefighters were called in, who opened the iron door with a metal saw.

At the end of March, law enforcement officers sealed up about 20 bars on Dumskaya street in the center of St. Petersburg. According to the investigation, the establishments involved minors in the systematic use of alcohol. There are no suspects in the case yet.
