The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, commented on reports of “raids” on men of military age that began in Moscow and St. Petersburg. According to Mr. Peskov, we can talk about the search for evaders who deceive “electronic systems.”
“We need to ask the military commissars, on the basis of what (they hand over summonses.— ”b”). Maybe they really are evaders, maybe some kind of electronic systems help them. It’s just that if a person signs, if he evades, then he commits a crime. If it’s about that, then it’s one thing. If it’s about something else, then it’s different. But here, again, it is necessary to check each specific case, ”Dmitry Peskov answered the journalist’s question (quote from RIA Novosti).
“Don’t be afraid to walk around Moscow. It is necessary to ask the Prosecutor General’s Office a question… The President instructed the prosecutors to accompany all mobilization activities. And it is the prosecutor’s office that is responsible for observing the rule of law,” the spokesman added.
Russian President Vladimir Putin declared today, October 14, that partial mobilization will be completed within two weeks. According to the president, 33,000 mobilized are already in the units, 16,000 are performing combat missions.
Information about the “raids” allegedly started in St. Petersburg appeared earlier today. The city authorities said that the so-called warning groups are working in full compliance with the law.
What happens after the entry of Russian troops into Ukraine – in broadcasts “b”.
