RIA Novosti reports that the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told the agency that the Kremlin is aware of reports that Ksenia Sobchak is allegedly a suspect in the case of extortion.

Earlier, RT, in its Telegram channel, citing a source, reported that Ksenia Sobchak had left for Lithuania through Belarus.
“Sobchak is being investigated as a suspect in the extortion case,” the report says.
However, this has not been officially confirmed.
On Tuesday it became known about the detention of Sobchak’s commercial director Kirill Sukhanov. According to a RIA Novosti source, he is a suspect in a criminal case of extortion from officials and businessmen through telegram channels.
On Wednesday, the former editor-in-chief of the secular magazine Tatler, Arian Romanovsky, was also detained. He was charged with extortion on an especially large scale.
RIA Novosti has just reported that Sukhanov and Romanovsky have been taken to court, where a measure of restraint will be chosen for them.
Whether Sobchak appears in the same case with them is not known.
