Dmitry Peskov, answering a question about the future of Wagner PMC after the alleged death of Yevgeny Prigozhin, Dmitry Utkin and Valery Chekalin in a plane crash and the new leaders of the PMC, reminded journalists that “there is no such structure, de jure Wagner PMC does not exist.”
“There is a Wagner group, which has made a great contribution to the SVO and the liberation of a number of regions of the Donetsk Republic,” the Kremlin speaker said, noting that the heroism of the Wagnerites will not be forgotten.
“As for the future, I can’t say anything, I don’t know,” Peskov said.
