Dmitry Peskov also drew attention to the words of President Vladimir Putin, who said that he was waiting for the final results of the investigation. “If you carefully listened to the president’s statement yesterday, he said that all the necessary examinations, including genetic ones, will now be carried out. There are no official results yet. As soon as they are ready for publication, they will be published,” he said.
Mr. Peskov was also asked whether Vladimir Putin would attend the funeral of Yevgeny Prigozhin if the information about his death was confirmed. “Not yet known.
