Peskov: Russia, in spite of everything, is ready for dialogue with Ukraine

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that Russia highly appreciates the attempts of any countries to contribute to the settlement of the situation in Ukraine. The statement was made against the backdrop of a meeting between Vladimir Putin and a delegation of African countries, which discussed the peace initiative for Ukraine.
The head of the Kremlin press service added in an interview with Izvestia that Russia’s position on Ukraine is absolutely clear and in line with international law.
At the same time, he noted that the provisions of the peace initiatives in Ukraine, which do not correlate with the position of Russia, are not acceptable to Moscow.
“Russia, in spite of everything, is ready for a dialogue with Ukraine,” Dmitry Peskov stressed.
