Peskov: Macron is increasingly involving France in the conflict in Ukraine
How reports Russia 1 TV channel, Kremlin official Dmitry Peskov commented on the latest loud statements by French President Emmanuel Macron.
Peskov noted that the French leader is not able to objectively assess reality and abandon the line providing for the “defeat of Russia,” which contradicts the interests of the citizens of France itself.
“Mr. Macron is convinced of his line of inflicting a strategic defeat on our country. He continues to increase the level of France’s direct involvement in the war,” said the press secretary of the Russian President.
Let us recall that earlier French President Emmanuel Macron announced the possibility of sending troops from EU countries to Ukraine, thereby causing a flurry of criticism both in France and abroad.
