Peskov: Putin will take part in the forum “Russia Calling!”

Russian President Vladimir Putin traditionally takes part in the “Russia Calling!” forum. In this regard, the Kremlin believes that it will also take part in it this year. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

“Traditionally, the president takes part in the forum every year, so there is every reason to believe that this year the president will take part as well. <...> We assume that he will take part,” he said.

At the same time, Peskov did not answer the question in what format – in person or remotely – Putin can take part in the forum. “I can’t tell you the exact format yet,” he added.

14th Investment Forum VTB “Russia is calling!” will pass December 7-8 in person at the World Trade Center in Moscow. This year its main theme will be “Life without globalization: uniting sovereign economies.”

VTB held its first investment forum in 2009. The last two times were in 2020 and 2021. – the forum was organized online due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event was not held last year.
