Peskov: meanings are more important than channels for delivering information

Channels for bringing information to people are secondary to the meanings they convey. This opinion on Thursday, August 3, was expressed by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

The official recalled that five years ago there was no world of Telegram channels, and also noted that it is not known what new sub-worlds will appear in the next five years, and even more so by 2050.

At the same time, Peskov stressed that “there are meanings that should consolidate the whole country, the whole society,” and they are clearly visible, and they “need to be formulated in simple, accessible, great Russian language.”

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin noted that traditional values underpin the existenceas well as the identity and sovereignty of the state.

The head of state also noted the unity and patriotism of Russians after the failed attempt at a military rebellion in the country. According to Putin, this helped stop the threat.
