Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he did not know whether the son of Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Alexei, had really headed a new department at Aeroflot. At the same time, he stressed that there is no conflict of interest in such an appointment, because Aeroflot is a separate company that is not subordinate to the Ministry of Finance.
“You know, I do not have information whether this is the son of Anton Siluanov or not. It’s more of a corporate issue. This is a company, not an organization subordinate to the Ministry of Finance – therefore, there is no conflict of interest, no matter who he is, ”Peskov told Kommersant FM during a press call.
