Applicants for positions in the Federal Bailiff Service will have to be much more modest. Today, the Ministry of Justice posted a document on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts, according to which they will not take sexaholics, too drowsy citizens and people who abuse non-addictive substances as bailiffs.
The explanatory note to the draft document states that the list of diseases that prevent entry into the service in the enforcement bodies is planned to be adopted instead of the current one from 2020. Its preparation is needed to bring the list in line with the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, adopted in July this year.
The new document includes such mental and behavioral disorders as increased sexual desire, drowsiness (hypersomnia), sleepwalking (somnambulism), anorexia, bulimia, as well as severe mental and behavioral disorders associated with the postpartum period. True, they will be contraindications for recruitment in cases where these disorders are chronic and protracted with severe persistent or often exacerbated painful ones. Alcoholism and drug addiction are not on the lists, but there are alcoholic liver disease directly related to them, as well as fibrosis and cirrhosis of the liver.
Also on the list were quite rare “nominal” diseases, for example, Asperger’s syndrome (a type of mental developmental disorder), Wegener’s granulomatosis, Takayasu’s syndrome, Behçet’s disease, all three diseases are associated with vascular damage.
An independent anti-corruption examination of the document is currently underway, which will end on September 25.
