Penza welcomed participants of the All-Russian Alexander Nevsky Kyokushin Memorial Festival

On December 4, the Olympiysky Sports Palace opened its doors to Kyokushin athletes from all over the country. Kyokushin is the most difficult and toughest form of karate.
This Kyokushin festival, dedicated to the memory of Alexander Nevsky, is held in Penza for the ninth time. This year, Maria Andreevna Yurina, Deputy Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Penza Region, welcomed the athletes and opened the competition. She wished all the participants successful fights, uncompromising struggle and sports improvement.
More than two hundred athletes from twelve regions took part in the competition.
