Penza gymnasts won 9 medals in the Volga Federal District championship
The Volga Federal District championship in artistic gymnastics has ended. It took place in Ufa from February 5 to 11. The Sursky region was represented by Penza students of the Natalia Lavrova gymnastics school.
Thanks to their coaches, Olga Matrokhina and Inessa Shlyuchkova, and their own, no less important, dedication, Penza athletes won 9 medals at the end of the championship.
They received three of them on February 9. Arina Dimitrova took “gold” in the masters of sports program. And Victoria Kosova and Veronika Polyakova took silver and bronze in the 1st sports category program, respectively.
On February 10, Penza gymnasts won 6 more medals. In the MS program, Arina Dimitrova won gold and silver, and Ksenia Garanina won bronze. Lada Mayulova took bronze in the CMS. And in the first sports category, Veronika Polyakova distinguished herself, earning two “silver” medals.
