On October 11, a solemn event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of rugby in the Penza region took place at the Officers’ House.
Governor of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko expressed his congratulations to the Lokomotiv-Penza team on their impressive victory in the Russian Championship. He noted the importance of this event in the history of the region.
The governor also presented awards to industry specialists who have made a significant contribution to the development of rugby in the Penza region.
Rugby veterans, representatives of the Lokomotiv-Penza rugby club and students of the Lokomotiv rugby school in Penza were also honored at the event.
