Penza athletes participate in the Spartakiad of Russian youth of pre-conscription age

From July 1 to July 11, 2023, the Spartakiad of Russian youth of pre-conscription age is held in Volgograd, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the defeat of German troops in the Battle of Stalingrad.
There are 10 people in the national team of the Penza region. Within 10 days, participants will compete in various sports and military disciplines.
The program of the Spartakiad includes military training, dismantling and assembling a machine gun, shooting from an air rifle, swimming, throwing sports equipment, running 60 meters and cross 3 kilometers, long jumps, pulling up and lifting the torso in a prone position.
Athletes from 52 subjects of Russia will take part in the event.
