The head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, announced the achievement of new agreements on the supply of weapons to Kyiv. He said this at a press conference after a meeting at the Ramstein airbase in Germany.
“These important new agreements demonstrate the continued commitment of our allies and partners to help Ukraine,” he said.
Austin noted that Sweden, in particular, will transfer 90 infantry fighting vehicles and Archer howitzers, Denmark will transfer 19 howitzers, Latvia – Stigner systems and helicopters.
Previously it was reported that NATO has not made a decision on the supply of German Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
