Pensioners in Chita now have the opportunity to do yoga and fitness free of charge and without harm to their health. The project is being implemented by the non-profit organization (NPO) “Social Landing” with funds from a grant from the governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory.
Professional trainers will work with people of “silver” age. According to project manager Veronika Barakhtina, pensioners attend classes with great pleasure.
The NPO received about 1 million rubles for the implementation of the project. The organization plans to create a physical education and health movement for older people.
Earlier, MK in Chita wrote that Transbaikal pensioners became second at the VIII All-Russian Spartakiadwhich this year took place in St. Petersburg.
