Pensioners from Gubkinsky turned out to be the most athletic in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug according to the results of the sports contest

On Yamal there was a sports contest of pensioners of the region. The Gubkin team outperformed six others in a range of events, from darts and chess to bullet shooting swimming. This was reported on May 31 by the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “Vector”.

According to the source, teams from Noyabrsk, Novy Urengoy, Muravlenko, Nadym, Purovsky and Krasnoselkupsky districts also competed in the Games. The disciplines were varied: darts, chess, shooting, table tennis, swimming, athletics and combined relay.

The Gubkin pensioners took not only team gold, but won five gold, seven silver and six bronze medals in individual competitions.

By the way, the competitions were held within the framework of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life”.
