Patriarch Kirill urged to collect money for the victims in the special operation zone

As reported on the website of the Russian Orthodox Church, in all Russian monasteries and churches there will be a general church collection of money for victims in the special operation zone.
This event will be organized “with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia”
The letter, which was sent to the diocesan bishops, notes that many people who are in the zone of the special operation on the territory of Ukraine are in need. Many do not have a roof over their heads, these people cannot eat and dress properly.
“We must do everything to help our needy brothers and sisters,” the letter emphasizes.
