Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus’ Kirill in his Christmas address called for sharing the light of Christ with each other

People often find themselves weakened by the cold glare of smartphones, tablets and billboards pouring in from everywhere. Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia stated this in his Christmas address. He wished the believers that people would share the light of Christ with each other and that it would penetrate into every home.

The Lord noted that due to being absorbed in one’s own worries, a person can recognize the Divine light and pass by it. This is also due to the fact that the eyes are already accustomed to a bright stream of redundant information.

The Patriarch wished that believers share with each other the unfading warm light of true faith, unshakable hope and true love, doing good deeds, comforting and supporting those who need help and participation, filling life with lasting meaning, joy, happiness and peace.

The Patriarch led the Christmas liturgy at the Moscow Cathedral of Christ the Savior. For the celebration of the Nativity of Christ, the Trinity icon by Andrei Rublev was delivered there.
